More on the The Three Stooges - Romney, Cain & Perry. It took me a couple of hours to produce the attached graphic so I figure it worth a couple of tweets. I have found that graphics on the computer has evolved into one of my primary forms of expression. My art so to speak and the debate antics the other night of the top three candidates for the GOP slot in the 2012 election made me think of The Three Stooges. It is not the same physical comedy that The Stooges played out when I was a kid but it seemed similar in the way that they are trying to poke each other around, slap each other in the face and in general be the top dog.
What gets me the most is that they are so caught up in themselves and trying to appeal to such a small group of tea party conservatives that they are making themselves appear like a bunch of stooges. All the while they are saying nothing redeeming and supporting platforms like Cains 9-9-9 plan that will not hold water when it is fully exposed. The Stooges were always manipulating too and coming up with weird plans that had only one purpose: entertain the audience.
The good news is that they are getting off track when it comes to bashing Obama. The more they try to bash each other the more traction the successes that Obama has had will be recognized. Especially if he uses the billion dollar election bankroll that he expects to raise in the coming year to drown out the din of GOP trash being thrown at him on a daily basis. I am concerned about Obama’s low pole numbers but Clinton had low numbers coming up to his second election also and then by the time the Democratic Convention was over he swung right into the lead and never looked back. I’m hoping the same will happen for Obama. Like most of us, I am not in love with the more conservative approach he has taken as President but I know that he is trying to gobble up as much of the middle ground as he can come election time and the GOP field has left the middle wide open. Even though I agree with the cause of Occupy Wall Street, and even though we are displeased with his politics, I hope in the end that they will feel like me and stand behind POTUS and help make him a winner again next time around. Because George Bush left this country in terrible shape and POTUS should not be taking the heat for very much of the troubles this country is dealing with. Obama has gotten the ship turned around and headed in a better direction but it is only running on three cylinders. I am afraid that if any of The Three Stooges are elected it will send the ship to the bottom of the ocean.

They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantive profit.

They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.

They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.

They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.

They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.
